One WhatsApp message is how most of our client relationships began. Send yours today and have New GST Registration in Agaram handled end to end from Rs.1,499 — fee confirmed in writing first, documents straight from your phone, acknowledgement the day we file.
We serve businesses on and around Pallavan Salai — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Agaram is a tight grid of workshops and homes between Peravallur and Sembium, with tailoring and hosiery units, footwear stitchers, cycle and two wheeler mechanics and small foundries along Loco Works Road and Kumaran Nagar Main Road. Market Street, Temple Road and the Paper Mills Road frontage carry grocery and rice wholesalers serving the Perambur belt, while Jaganathan Colony and Bharathi Nagar hold rented workshop sheds. Composition scheme limits, unregistered job work movements and cash sale invoicing gaps drive most notices received here. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of New GST Registration is available to Agaram businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Peravallur and Sembium on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
The 11th and the 20th stop being days of dread. You approve a prepared draft, we file, and the acknowledgement lands on your WhatsApp — month after month, without drama.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
Pallavan Salai is a main connecting road in Agaram, about 1.3 km north-east of the centre of Agaram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Prakasam Street (about 700 m); Bashyam Street (about 1.0 km); 2nd Street (about 1.0 km); Sarsamy Street (about 1.0 km) — so a site visit on Pallavan Salai can usually be combined with other work in Agaram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Pallavan Salai falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Agaram pincode is 600082.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
Circular No. 96/15/2019-GST dated 28 March 2019 · 2019-03-28
CBIC confirmed that the death of a sole proprietor, where the business is continued by the successor, is a transfer of business for the purposes of section 18(3), so the unutilised input tax credit can be transferred to the transferee through FORM GST ITC-02. The successor must first obtain a new registration, the cancellation application for the deceased's registration is filed selecting death of proprietor as the reason, and the transferee accepts the credit on the portal.
What to do about it: A family taking over a proprietorship after a bereavement need not lose the credit balance, provided the ITC-02 is filed before the old registration is cancelled.
4th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 3-4 November 2016 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 3) · 2016-11-03
Summing up a long debate over five-band and six-band options, the Chairperson proposed and the Council accepted a structure with one exempt category covering food grains and similar essentials, a lower rate of five per cent for goods consumed by vulnerable sections, standard rates of 12 and 18 per cent, and a higher slab of 28 per cent. A committee of officers was directed to fit individual goods and services into those slabs. Proposals for a 40 per cent slab were rejected.
What it means for you: Every rate dispute a Chennai business faces today traces back to this four-slab architecture and to the fitment exercise it launched.
M/s. Caterpillar India (P) Ltd v. State Tax Officer — Madras High Court, W.P. Nos. 5075, 5076, 5078, 5081, 5128, 5185 and 5189 of 2019, decided 26 February 2019 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2019-02-26
Consignments were detained because the e-way bills accompanying them had expired. The Court directed immediate release on furnishing a bank guarantee and, importantly, directed the assessing officer to consider whether the lapse was a substantive violation or only a technical breach, having regard to Sections 122, 125 and 126 of the CGST Act. Adjudication was to be completed within four weeks, with amounts already remitted by the transporter adjusted against the final determination.
Practical effect: A Chennai consignor whose goods are held for a stale e-way bill can seek release against security while pressing that Section 126 requires leniency for minor procedural lapses.
