Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GST Refund RFD-01 in Avadi deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.4,999, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around CTH Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Finding dependable GST Refund RFD-01 in Avadi usually means choosing between a distant online portal and an overloaded local accountant. Avadi is a defence manufacturing town built around the Heavy Vehicles Factory and CVRDE on CTH Road, with a fast-growing retail and real estate market spreading through Paruthipattu and Kovilpathagai. Vendors and contractors billing defence establishments have 2 per cent GST TDS deducted, so matching GSTR-7 credits and handling tender-based works contracts are the area's characteristic compliance tasks. We offer a third option: a professional Chennai GST practice that treats Avadi, Ambattur and Poonamallee as home ground, responds the same working day, files ahead of deadlines, and stands behind its work if a notice ever arrives on a return we prepared.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Avadi would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Avadi, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Avadi compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
The 11th and the 20th stop being days of dread. You approve a prepared draft, we file, and the acknowledgement lands on your WhatsApp — month after month, without drama.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
Circular No. 24/24/2017-GST dated 21 December 2017 · 2017-12-21
CBIC extended the manual filing and processing procedure of Circular 17/17/2017 to three further refund categories: accumulated input tax credit on account of an inverted duty structure, refund of tax paid on deemed export supplies, and refund of excess balance lying in the electronic cash ledger. It also covered supplies made under the concessional merchant-export notifications of 23 October 2017 and prescribed the statements and undertakings each category required.
Practical effect: Manufacturers and traders in Chennai carrying inverted-duty credit from the first year of GST claimed those refunds under this circular, and its documentation list still shapes what officers ask for.
Notification No. 10/2017-Central Tax dated 28.06.2017 · 2017-06-28
This notification amended the CGST Rules, 2017 as originally notified under Notification 03/2017-Central Tax, adding the substantive operating chapters that had been left out of the first tranche. These cover matters such as determination of value of supply, input tax credit, tax invoice, credit and debit notes, accounts and records, returns, payment of tax, refunds and assessment, together with their prescribed forms.
What it means for you: The rules governing invoicing, credit and refunds for a Chennai business date from 28 June 2017, so any compliance question about the first weeks of GST must be tested against this text.
CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
How we apply it: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
