From Rs.749, our team delivers GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Choolai. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Sydenhams Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Choolai is a goods-movement hub of hardware merchants, steel and timber traders, printing presses and godowns concentrated on Choolai High Road and Sydenhams Road. Consignments constantly cross the Rs.50,000 e-way bill threshold, and reverse charge on goods transport agency freight is routinely missed, making e-way bill discipline and RCM reporting in GSTR-3B the area's chief compliance pain. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing across Choolai for years, along with clients from Purasawalkam and Vepery. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Choolai regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Rs.7,999/year
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
Real notifications, rulings and case law our consultants track — and apply to client filings and notice replies.
Circular No. 98/17/2019-GST dated 23 April 2019 · 2019-04-23
Sections 49A and 49B, effective from 1 February 2019, required integrated tax credit to be exhausted before central or State tax credit could be used, which caused unnecessary cash payments. CBIC explained the effect of the newly inserted rule 88A: integrated tax credit must first be used against integrated tax liability, and the balance may then be applied against central tax and State tax liability in any order and in any proportion, before central and State credit is touched.
What it means for you: Correct set-off order can be the difference between paying cash and carrying credit, so the utilisation working should be checked every month.
State Tax Officer v. Rainbow Papers Ltd — Supreme Court, judgment dated 06-09-2022 · 2022-09-06
The Supreme Court held that where a State tax statute creates a first charge on the assets of a defaulting dealer, the tax department qualifies as a secured creditor under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. A resolution plan that simply ignores statutory tax dues, or provides nil recovery to the State, can be rejected. The decision considerably strengthened the position of tax authorities in corporate insolvency resolution processes.
Practical effect: A Chennai company entering insolvency cannot assume its GST and VAT arrears will be wiped out; statutory dues must be properly dealt with in the resolution plan.
Notification No. 06/2023-Central Tax · 2023-03-31
Where an officer had passed a best-judgment assessment order under Section 62(1) on or before 28 February 2023 because a taxpayer failed to file returns, the order was deemed withdrawn if the taxpayer furnished the valid return by 30 June 2023 (extended to 31 August 2023) along with interest under Section 50 and late fee under Section 47. The relief applied even where the 30-day statutory period to file the return had lapsed and no appeal had been filed against the assessment order.
Why this matters: An ASMT-13 best-judgment order is not the end of the road; filing the actual return within any notified window can wipe out the estimated demand entirely.
