From Rs.2,999, our team delivers GST Notice Reply for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Ennore. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.

Every locality in Chennai has its own commercial rhythm, and Ennore is no exception. Ennore's economy revolves around Kamarajar Port and the North Chennai Thermal Power Station, with coal and cargo transporters, marine contractors and fabrication crews working off Ennore High Road and Kathivakkam High Road, while fishing hamlets like Nettukuppam and Thalankuppam trade seafood daily. Contractors billing the port and power station have 2 per cent GST TDS deducted, so reconciling GSTR-7 credits against receivables is routine work here. Our practice has shaped its GST Notice Reply work around exactly these realities, serving clients in Ennore as well as Tiruvottiyur and Manali. Registrations, returns, refunds and notice replies are handled by one accountable team, with fees fixed in writing before work begins and every filing reconciled against portal data before it is submitted.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Ennore compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Ennore regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Ennore often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |

Circular No. 243/37/2024-GST · 2024-12-31
CBIC clarified that transactions in vouchers are neither a supply of goods nor of services. Where a voucher is dealt with on a principal-to-principal basis, no GST arises on its sale or distribution. Where a distributor acts as an agent for a commission, GST applies on that commission. Additional services such as marketing, customisation and technology support are taxable at eighteen per cent, and unredeemed vouchers, or breakage, do not attract GST as no supply takes place.
What to do about it: Retailers and platforms issuing gift vouchers should charge GST only on the underlying goods at redemption and on any commission earned, not on the voucher sale itself.
Goodwill Industrial Canteen - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/09/AAR/2018, dated 30 August 2018 · 2018-08-30
The applicant prepared food and served it in the canteens of client companies at their premises. It sought the rate applicable to this arrangement. The Authority held that the supply of food and beverages on the premises of an industrial undertaking was taxable at 18 percent up to 26 July 2018 and at 5 percent from 27 July 2018, when the restaurant service entry was amended to cover canteens at offices and factories, the concessional rate being available without input tax credit.
Practical effect: Chennai canteen contractors should bill factory and office canteens at 5 percent and forgo input tax credit on their purchases.
37th GST Council Meeting, Goa — 20 September 2019 · 2019-09-20
The Council replaced the declared tariff basis for hotel accommodation with actual transaction value and reset the slabs with effect from 1 October 2019: nil where the value is up to Rs 1,000 per day, 12 per cent between Rs 1,001 and Rs 7,500, and 18 per cent above Rs 7,500. Outdoor catering, other than in premises having daily tariff above Rs 7,500, was reduced from 18 per cent with input tax credit to 5 per cent without credit. This substantially reduced tax on mid-segment hotels and on marriage and event catering.
Practical effect: Chennai hotels and outdoor caterers had to rebuild their rate logic around the actual amount charged, and caterers lost input credit in exchange for the lower five per cent rate.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.

The analyser reports what your notice says and the statutory position for that form. It is not a substitute for a consultant reading your actual records, and a reply should be reviewed before you file it.
