Searching for dependable GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing near Besant Nagar? Our Chennai GST practice completes it from Rs.749 with a written checklist, senior-reviewed preparation and full acknowledgement copies, so you always know exactly where your work stands.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Besant Nagar's commerce clusters around Elliot's Beach and the numbered avenues: cafes, restaurants, designer boutiques, fitness studios and wellness clinics. Restaurants charging 5 per cent GST cannot claim input tax credit, a costly trap when fit-out spends are high, while boutiques and studios paying steep commercial rents bear 18 per cent GST on lease charges with little offsetting credit. When businesses of this kind evaluate GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing, the real question is not price alone but who answers when something goes wrong. We serve Besant Nagar, Adyar and Thiruvanmiyur on a standing commitment: responses within the same working day, senior scrutiny before every submission, and continued support if the department ever writes back on work carrying our preparation.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Besant Nagar regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Besant Nagar business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Besant Nagar never writes back to you as a demand years later.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
Positions we rely on when preparing filings and drafting replies — with the exact citation, so you can verify each one.
M. Trade Links v. Union of India — Kerala High Court, judgment dated 5 July 2024, reported at 2024 KLT OnLine 1624 · 2024-07-05
A large batch of petitions challenged the constitutional validity of Section 16(4), which bars input tax credit claimed after the prescribed deadline, and of Section 16(2)(c). The High Court upheld both provisions, holding that input tax credit is a statutory concession subject to conditions and time limits fixed by the legislature. Limited relief was given for the initial years of GST having regard to the transitional difficulties and the subsequent amendments extending the deadline.
Practical effect: Do not rely on litigation to rescue late credit claims — reconcile and claim within the statutory deadline for each financial year.
Notification No. 38/2017-Central Tax (Rate) dated 13.10.2017 · 2017-10-13
Responding to widespread compliance difficulty, this notification amended Notification 08/2017-Central Tax (Rate) to remove the daily Rs 5,000 limit and exempt all intra-State supplies of goods or services received by a registered person from an unregistered supplier from tax under section 9(4), up to 31 March 2018. In effect it suspended the unregistered-purchase reverse charge entirely rather than merely raising the threshold.
Why this matters: Chennai businesses have not had to pay reverse charge on ordinary purchases from unregistered vendors since 13 October 2017, and the suspension was repeatedly extended before becoming permanent.
32nd GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 10 January 2019 · 2019-01-10
The Council created two threshold limits for exemption from registration and payment of GST for suppliers of goods, Rs 40 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, and gave states a week to choose which limit would apply in their territory. The threshold for service providers was left unchanged at Rs 20 lakh, and at Rs 10 lakh for special category states. The change was made operational from 1 April 2019 and remains the basic registration test for traders and manufacturers today.
How we apply it: A Chennai trader dealing only in goods crosses the registration line at Rs 40 lakh of aggregate turnover, but a service provider must register at Rs 20 lakh.
