Our consultants provide GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing to businesses across ICF Colony starting at Rs.749. Every file is reconciled and senior-reviewed before submission, which is why our clients see far fewer departmental queries than they did while self-filing.
We serve businesses on and around Officers Colony Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in ICF Colony looking for GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. ICF Colony grew around the Integral Coach Factory, and its economy stays railway facing: precision machine shops, sheet metal fabricators, electrical and painting contractors, uniform tailors and canteen contractors supplying the Shell and Furnishing divisions through Constable Road and Portious Road. Konnur High Road and New Avadi Road add provision stores and hardware, while Welcome Colony and the Officers Colony lanes house staff quarters and rented shops. Vendors here contend with Section 51 TDS deductions, works contract classification and GSTR-2B mismatches on railway purchase orders. We serve this belt — including Villivakkam and Ayanavaram — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in ICF Colony never writes back to you as a demand years later.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
The 11th and the 20th stop being days of dread. You approve a prepared draft, we file, and the acknowledgement lands on your WhatsApp — month after month, without drama.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
Officers Colony Road is a residential street in ICF Colony, about 1.0 km east of the centre of ICF Colony. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Thirumalai Raja Main Street (about 100 m); Thrope Road (about 150 m); Portious Road (about 200 m); NMK Street (about 450 m) — so a site visit on Officers Colony Road can usually be combined with other work in ICF Colony on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Officers Colony Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the ICF Colony pincode is 600038.

Tamil Nadu Water Investment Company Ltd - AAR Tamil Nadu, advance ruling reported at 2019 (2) TMI 187 · 2019
The Chennai company provided management consultancy and detailed project report services to the Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board for water related projects. It asked whether the service attracted GST. The Authority held that the supply was a pure service with no supply of goods involved, rendered in relation to a function entrusted to a municipality, and was therefore exempt from GST under the entry covering pure services supplied to government and local authorities.
What it means for you: Chennai consultants on government water and civic projects should test the pure services exemption before adding GST to their invoices.
47th GST Council Meeting, Chandigarh — 28 and 29 June 2022 · 2022-06-29
The Council recommended withdrawing the exemption on hotel accommodation priced up to one thousand rupees per unit per day and taxing it at 12 per cent, and taxing room rent charged by a hospital, other than intensive care and similar critical care units, where the charge exceeds five thousand rupees per day per patient, at 5 per cent without input tax credit. It also recommended withdrawing the small-consignment exemptions for goods transport agencies and giving transporters a forward-charge option. The changes took effect from 18 July 2022.
Why this matters: Chennai lodges charging under one thousand rupees a night and hospitals with deluxe rooms above five thousand rupees a day both acquired new GST liabilities from 18 July 2022.
GSTN Advisory, 2021 — negative liability appearing in Form GSTR-4 filed by composition taxpayers · 2021
Composition taxpayers who left Table 6 of the annual return GSTR-4 blank found that the tax already paid through Form CMP-08 was treated as an excess payment, creating a negative liability that was then adjusted against later quarters. GSTN clarified that outward supply and reverse charge figures must be entered in Table 6 even though the tax has already been paid, and arranged for wrongly created negative balances to be reversed.
Practical effect: Composition dealers in Chennai must complete Table 6 of GSTR-4 each year, or the portal will show a false credit and later recover it.
