Choosing GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Kattupakkam is ultimately an act of trust: you are handing over sales figures, purchase records and portal access. Kattupakkam fronts Mount Poonamallee Road between Kumananchavadi and Karayanchavadi, with Audco Nagar and Astalakshmi Nagar behind Queen Victoria Road and the Poonamallee-Kundrathur-Pallavaram Road feeding godowns, timber depots and auto workshops. Hardware dealers, packers and movers, transport fleets, schools and hospital suppliers file from here. E-way bill mismatches on the old NH4 corridor, goods transport agency reverse charge and composition-to-regular transitions for traders crossing the turnover limit recur constantly. We earn that trust the unglamorous way — fixed fees honoured, drafts approved by you before filing, acknowledgements shared the same day, and strict confidentiality throughout. Clients across Kattupakkam, Iyyappanthangal and Poonamallee have stayed with us for years on precisely this basis.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Kattupakkam are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Funding rounds, partnerships and business sales all begin with a compliance check. A clean, documented GST history lets you clear that scrutiny quickly instead of watching a deal stall over old filing gaps.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
4th Street is a residential street in Kattupakkam, about 800 m west of the centre of Kattupakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 3rd Street (about 0 m); 3rd Cross Street (about 50 m); Audco Nagar 3rd Cross Street (about 350 m); Third Main Road (about 400 m) — so a site visit on 4th Street can usually be combined with other work in Kattupakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 4th Street falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Kattupakkam pincode is 600056.

GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
Notification No. 38/2017-Central Tax (Rate) dated 13.10.2017 · 2017-10-13
Responding to widespread compliance difficulty, this notification amended Notification 08/2017-Central Tax (Rate) to remove the daily Rs 5,000 limit and exempt all intra-State supplies of goods or services received by a registered person from an unregistered supplier from tax under section 9(4), up to 31 March 2018. In effect it suspended the unregistered-purchase reverse charge entirely rather than merely raising the threshold.
What to do about it: Chennai businesses have not had to pay reverse charge on ordinary purchases from unregistered vendors since 13 October 2017, and the suspension was repeatedly extended before becoming permanent.
Mr. Kannippan Arumugan v. Assistant Commissioner (ST) — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 2943 of 2026, decided 30 January 2026 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2026-01-30
The taxpayer had reported tax of Rs 2,54,040.30 against an invoice instead of the correct Rs 1,31,280.30, and a demand followed. The Court quashed the assessment order dated 21 July 2025 and remitted the matter for fresh adjudication within six months, permitting the petitioner to rectify the inadvertent error subject to compliance with Circular No. 212/6/2024-GST, and directing the officer to verify with the recipient's jurisdiction whether excess credit had in fact been availed.
Why this matters: A clerical overstatement in GSTR-1 by a Chennai supplier can still be corrected long afterwards, provided the recipient has not taken the excess credit and the Circular 212 procedure is followed.
Circular No. 123/42/2019-GST dated 11 November 2019 · 2019-11-11
CBIC explained the newly inserted rule 36(4). The restriction is not supplier-wise but is computed on a consolidated basis for all invoices not appearing in GSTR-2A. The amount of eligible credit is determined from GSTR-2A as on the due date for filing GSTR-1 by suppliers for that month. A taxpayer may therefore claim only twenty per cent more than the credit reflected in GSTR-2A, and the balance may be claimed in a later month once the supplier uploads the invoice.
Why this matters: This circular began the era of credit being tied to supplier filings, and monthly reconciliation of purchases with GSTR-2A or 2B is now unavoidable.
