From Rs.2,999, our team delivers GST Notice Reply for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Kolathur. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around 12th Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Kolathur is India's best-known ornamental fish hub, with breeding farms and aquarium shops clustered off Red Hills Road near Retteri junction, alongside hardware stores and construction material suppliers serving fast-growing residential pockets like Poombuhar Nagar. Many fish breeders and online sellers cross the Rs.40 lakh goods threshold without realising it, making first-time registration and e-commerce reporting the local GST pain point. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GST Notice Reply across Kolathur for years, along with clients from Villivakkam and Perambur. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Kolathur always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Kolathur business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Kolathur, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
12th Street is a residential street in Kolathur, about 500 m south of the centre of Kolathur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Karthikeyan Road (about 150 m); 27th Street (about 550 m); 2nd Cross Street (about 650 m); 30th Street (about 650 m) — so a site visit on 12th Street can usually be combined with other work in Kolathur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 12th Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Kolathur pincode is 600099.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
We track every notification, circular and judgment that changes a filing position, so your returns and replies reflect the current law.
M/s ASP Traders v. State of Uttar Pradesh — Supreme Court, 2025 INSC 890, Civil Appeal No. 9764 of 2025, judgment dated 24-07-2025 · 2025-07-24
Goods in transit were detained and the trader paid the penalty demanded under Section 129 in order to get the consignment released, while also filing written objections. The department treated the matter as closed. The Supreme Court held that payment made under commercial compulsion is not a voluntary admission, and that where objections are on record the officer must still pass a reasoned speaking order in Form GST MOV-09. Without such an order the statutory right of appeal becomes illusory.
How we apply it: If a Chennai trader or transporter pays an e-way bill penalty only to release detained goods, record a written protest and objection at once and insist on a speaking order so that the appeal route stays open.
Notification No. 8/2022-Central Tax (Rate), dated 13 July 2022 (G.S.R. 556(E)) · 2022-07-13
Specified goods supplied to holders of petroleum exploration licences, mining leases and coal-bed methane contracts had enjoyed a concessional rate of five per cent under Notification No. 3/2017-Central Tax (Rate) subject to certificate conditions. This notification raised that concessional rate to twelve per cent with effect from 18 July 2022, following the Council's decision to trim rate concessions that were creating credit accumulation. The certificate and end-use conditions of the parent notification continued unchanged.
Why this matters: Suppliers of equipment to oil and gas operators must obtain the prescribed certificate before applying the concessional rate, and must apply the rate in force on the date of supply.
34th GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 19 March 2019 · 2019-03-19
The Council gave promoters a one-time option to continue paying tax at the old effective rates of eight or twelve per cent with input tax credit on ongoing projects, meaning buildings where both construction and actual booking had started before 1 April 2019 and which were not completed by 31 March 2019. The option had to be exercised once within a prescribed time frame, failing which the new rates applied automatically. Credit for projects moving across was to be transitioned pro rata.
Why this matters: Chennai builders who did not formally exercise the option in 2019 are on the one and five per cent no-credit rates, and any credit claimed since then is exposed to reversal.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
