The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Mylapore permanently ahead of both, delivering New GST Registration from Rs.1,499 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Rosary Church Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Mylapore runs on gold jewellery, silk sarees and temple-linked retail concentrated on North Mada Street, Luz Church Road and R.K. Mutt Road around Kapaleeswarar Temple. Jewellers face HSN and old-gold exchange valuation issues, while saree and provision traders approaching the Rs.40 lakh registration threshold or the Rs.1.5 crore composition ceiling need disciplined turnover tracking and punctual GSTR-1 filing. That commercial character shapes the GST questions we see from Mylapore every week — registrations, monthly returns, credit mismatches and departmental queries. We deliver New GST Registration for businesses in Mylapore, and clients also reach us from Alwarpet and Mandaveli nearby. Documents move over WhatsApp, drafts are approved before filing, and a senior consultant reviews every submission, so distance from our office never dilutes the quality of the work.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Mylapore compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Mylapore are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
Rosary Church Road is a secondary arterial road in Mylapore, about 750 m east of the centre of Mylapore. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Devadi Street (about 200 m); Papanasam Sivan Salai (about 200 m); Nadu Street (about 350 m); Santhome High Road (about 350 m) — so a site visit on Rosary Church Road can usually be combined with other work in Mylapore on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Rosary Church Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Mylapore pincode is 600004.

Greenwood Owners Association v. Union of India — Madras High Court, 2021 · 2021-07-01
Resident welfare associations challenged the CBIC circular and AAR view that once monthly maintenance exceeds Rs 7,500 per member, GST applies on the entire amount. The Madras High Court held that the exemption operates up to Rs 7,500, and only the amount in excess of that threshold is taxable — the term 'up to' marks a clear slab. The circular's contrary interpretation was quashed as contrary to the exemption notification.
How we apply it: Chennai apartment associations collecting over Rs 7,500 per month per flat should charge GST only on the excess over Rs 7,500, relying on this jurisdictional ruling.
Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Board - AAR Tamil Nadu, advance ruling reported August 2021 · 2021
The Board, based at the DMS Campus in Teynampet, Chennai, owned immovable property and let portions of it to government departments and business entities. It asked whether it needed registration and whether the rent was exempt because the tenant was the government. The Authority held that renting of commercial property by the Board to a government or a business entity is not an exempt supply, so GST was payable on the rent collected.
How we apply it: Chennai landlords letting premises to government offices must charge GST unless a specific exemption entry clearly covers the letting.
Notification No. 2/2022-Central Tax (Rate), dated 31 March 2022 · 2022-03-31
From 1 April 2022 fly ash bricks and blocks, building bricks, bricks of fossil meals and earthen or roofing tiles moved to twelve per cent with input tax credit under the main schedule, with this notification offering an alternative six per cent rate on condition that no input tax credit is taken on inputs, input services or capital goods. Brick manufacturers were simultaneously moved to a lower registration threshold and taken out of the ordinary composition scheme.
Why this matters: A brick kiln near Chennai must consciously elect between six per cent without credit and twelve per cent with credit, and the choice should be worked out on its actual input tax cost.
