The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Puthagaram permanently ahead of both, delivering GST Refund RFD-01 from Rs.4,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around 2nd Main Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Puthagaram runs from Retteri Junction to the Chennai Bypass along Puthagaram Road and the Perambur-Redhills High Road, sharing Kolathur's ornamental-fish trade, the car showrooms on the 100 Feet Road and rows of hardware and provision shops around Senthil Nagar, Vinayakapuram and Teachers Colony. Aquarium exporters here struggle with HSN classification and LUT filing, while showrooms face input tax credit reversal disputes on demonstration vehicles. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GST Refund RFD-01 across Puthagaram for years, along with clients from Kolathur and Surapet. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Your work is executed by trained GST staff working under direct senior supervision, not passed to interns learning on your file. The person preparing your return understands reverse charge, blocked credits and place of supply, because getting these wrong costs you money.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |

CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
How we apply it: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
Notification No. 37/2017-Central Tax dated 04.10.2017 · 2017-10-04
This notification extended the facility of furnishing a Letter of Undertaking in place of a bond to all registered persons who intend to supply goods or services for export without payment of integrated tax, subject to conditions. The main exclusion is a person who has been prosecuted for a tax evasion offence exceeding a prescribed amount. The LUT is valid for the financial year in which it is furnished and is filed on the common portal.
Practical effect: Every Chennai exporter can now file an annual LUT in FORM GST RFD-11 rather than arranging a bank guarantee, and it must be renewed at the start of each financial year.
WABCO India Ltd - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/10/AAR/2018, dated 27 September 2018 · 2018-09-27
The manufacturer supplied electrical wiring harness, essentially electrical wire with connectors at both ends, used in motor vehicles, and asked whether it should be classified as a motor vehicle part or as insulated electrical conductors. The Authority classified the product under heading 8544, which covers insulated wire and cable fitted with connectors, taxable at 9 percent central tax and 9 percent State tax following Notification No. 41/2017-Central Tax (Rate) dated 14 November 2017, the earlier rate having been higher.
How we apply it: Chennai auto component makers should classify by the tariff description of the article itself, not by the vehicle it eventually goes into.
