From Rs.749, our team delivers GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Saidapet. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Vinayagar Koil Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Saidapet's trade runs to auto workshops, spare parts dealers, hardware and timber merchants along Anna Salai and Jeenis Road, with the Saidapet court complex feeding legal and documentation services. Used-parts dealers must apply the margin scheme correctly, and small traders here frequently accumulate GSTR-3B late fees of Rs.50 per day that dwarf the tax actually payable. Against that backdrop, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Saidapet demands more than data entry — it needs reconciliation before filing, correct classification and awareness of what local officers examine. Our Chennai team provides exactly that to clients in Saidapet, Guindy and T. Nagar, with same-day responses on working days and WhatsApp updates at every stage. Most routine engagements complete within one to two working days once documents are in hand.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Saidapet always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Saidapet business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Saidapet through each of these so month one starts correctly.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
Vinayagar Koil Street is a residential street in Saidapet, about 900 m south of the centre of Saidapet. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Velachery Road (about 100 m); Taluk Office Road (about 300 m); Anna Salai (Mount Road) (about 800 m); Ponni Amman Koil Street (about 850 m) — so a site visit on Vinayagar Koil Street can usually be combined with other work in Saidapet on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Vinayagar Koil Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Saidapet pincode is 600015.

Century Metal Recycling (P) Ltd v. Union of India — Supreme Court, 2019 (367) ELT 3 (SC), judgment dated 17-05-2019 · 2019-05-17
The Supreme Court held that the transaction value declared by an importer must ordinarily be accepted. Before rejecting it, the proper officer must have a reasonable doubt based on certain material and specific reasons, must communicate those grounds to the importer, and must give an opportunity to explain. A mere suspicion, or reliance on price data without disclosure, is not sufficient to displace the declared value.
Practical effect: A Chennai importer facing enhancement of assessable value should insist on written reasons and the comparable data relied upon before accepting any revision.
Notification No. 39/2018-Central Tax dated 04.09.2018 · 2018-09-04
This notification amended the CGST Rules to notify the format of the annual return. FORM GSTR-9 was prescribed for ordinary registered persons and FORM GSTR-9A for those who had paid tax under the composition levy. The form requires consolidation of outward supplies, inward supplies liable to reverse charge, input tax credit availed, reversed and ineligible, tax paid, and details of transactions of the previous year declared in the following year's returns.
What to do about it: This is the first authoritative GSTR-9 format, and a Chennai business reconstructing its FY 2017-18 annual return must work from the table structure notified here.
Circular No. 201/13/2023-GST · 2023-08-01
CBIC clarified that where a director rents out immovable property to the company in his personal capacity rather than as a director, the reverse charge entry for director's services does not apply and the ordinary forward charge rules govern. It also clarified that supply of food and beverages in cinema halls is taxable as a restaurant service at five per cent without input tax credit, unless the sale of the ticket and the food are clubbed as a composite supply with the ticket as the principal supply.
Why this matters: Companies paying rent to a director for personally owned premises need not discharge reverse charge under the director's-services entry, but must check the landlord's registration status.
