Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Shenoy Nagar deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.749, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around 7th Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Shenoy Nagar sits between EVR Periyar Salai and New Avadi Road, its metro station feeding boutiques, bakeries, diagnostic labs and coaching centres along 1st Avenue, Pulla Avenue and the Club Road stretch. Halls Road and Kilpauk Garden Road carry bank branches, clinics and small consultancies, while Bharathipuram and the P.P. Garden lanes hold flats let out commercially and serviced offices. Registration address changes, reverse charge on rent and place-of-supply questions on professional fees dominate here. Years of working in and around Shenoy Nagar have shown us where GST trouble actually begins here — supplier defaults, classification doubts and deadlines lost in busy trading weeks. Our GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing is built to close precisely those gaps, and the same team supports businesses in Anna Nagar and Aminjikarai, each with one point of contact and a compliance calendar maintained on their behalf.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Shenoy Nagar often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Shenoy Nagar through each of these so month one starts correctly.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Shenoy Nagar compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Shenoy Nagar business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
7th Street is a residential street in Shenoy Nagar, about 1.1 km north-west of the centre of Shenoy Nagar. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 8th Street (about 50 m); 5th Street (about 50 m); 4th Street (about 150 m); AE Block 2nd Street (about 200 m) — so a site visit on 7th Street can usually be combined with other work in Shenoy Nagar on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 7th Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Shenoy Nagar pincode is 600030.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
M/s. Prime Gold International Ltd v. Additional Director General — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 8203 of 2022, decided 2 August 2023 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2023-08-02
The petitioner challenged a provisional attachment of its bank account. By the time the matter was heard, one year had elapsed from the date of the order. The Court observed that orders of attachment under Section 83 are self-limiting and remain in force for one year only, after which nothing survives for adjudication. The writ petition was accordingly closed, the attachment having ceased to operate by force of the statute itself.
What to do about it: A Chennai business should diarise the date of any Section 83 attachment — after twelve months the bank must release the account, and a fresh order is required if the department wants to continue.
Notification No. 07/2020-Central Tax · 2020-02-03
CBIC replaced the single 20th-of-the-month GSTR-3B deadline with a staggered system. Taxpayers with aggregate turnover of Rs 5 crore or more in the previous financial year continued to file by the 20th. Smaller taxpayers were split by State: those in Tamil Nadu and the other southern and western States were given the 22nd, while the northern and eastern States were given the 24th. The arrangement was first notified for the January to March 2020 returns.
What it means for you: A Chennai business below Rs 5 crore turnover files GSTR-3B by the 22nd, not the 20th, and late-fee notices computed from the 20th should be contested.
35th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 21 June 2019 · 2019-06-21
At the first meeting chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the Council decided to introduce an electronic invoicing system in a phase-wise manner for business-to-business transactions. The press release recorded that e-invoicing would help taxpayers with backward integration and automation of tax-relevant processes and would help authorities combat evasion, with Phase 1 proposed to be voluntary and rolled out from January 2020. This decision is the origin of the Invoice Registration Portal, the IRN and the QR code now mandatory for most mid-sized and large businesses.
How we apply it: Every later e-invoicing threshold reduction, down to the Rs 5 crore limit now applicable, traces back to this decision, so businesses crossing a threshold must set up e-invoicing from the first day of the next financial year.
