GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Shenoy Nagar does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.749, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.
We serve businesses on and around EVR Periyar Salai — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.

Choosing GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Shenoy Nagar is ultimately an act of trust: you are handing over sales figures, purchase records and portal access. Shenoy Nagar sits between EVR Periyar Salai and New Avadi Road, its metro station feeding boutiques, bakeries, diagnostic labs and coaching centres along 1st Avenue, Pulla Avenue and the Club Road stretch. Halls Road and Kilpauk Garden Road carry bank branches, clinics and small consultancies, while Bharathipuram and the P.P. Garden lanes hold flats let out commercially and serviced offices. Registration address changes, reverse charge on rent and place-of-supply questions on professional fees dominate here. We earn that trust the unglamorous way — fixed fees honoured, drafts approved by you before filing, acknowledgements shared the same day, and strict confidentiality throughout. Clients across Shenoy Nagar, Anna Nagar and Aminjikarai have stayed with us for years on precisely this basis.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Shenoy Nagar are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Shenoy Nagar, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Shenoy Nagar are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |

M/s. New PSP Traders v. Deputy State Tax Officer — Madras High Court (Madurai Bench), W.P.(MD) No. 17026 of 2025, decided 25 June 2025 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2025-06-25
The assessment orders had denied input tax credit purely because the returns were filed after the Section 16(4) cut-off. The Court held that the challenge was squarely covered by newly inserted Section 16(5), which permits credit on invoices relating to the financial years 2017-18 to 2020-21 if taken in any return filed up to 30 November 2021, notwithstanding Section 16(4). The impugned orders were quashed and the matter remitted for fresh orders consistent with the amendment.
Practical effect: A Chennai dealer whose ITC for 2017-18 to 2020-21 was disallowed only for late filing should apply for rectification or move the High Court, since Section 16(5) now protects that credit.
Circular No. 180/12/2022-GST · 2022-09-09
Following the Supreme Court directions in Union of India versus Filco Trade Centre, the Board issued guidelines allowing every aggrieved taxpayer to file or revise FORM GST TRAN-1 and TRAN-2 on the common portal during a special window from 1 October 2022 to 30 November 2022. The circular set out the declaration to be filed, the requirement to submit a self-certified copy to the jurisdictional officer, and the verification timelines that follow the filing.
Practical effect: Transitional credit disputes from 2017 that reached the courts were routed through this one-time window, and any pending verification of a Chennai taxpayer's TRAN filing is governed by these guidelines.
46th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 31 December 2021 · 2021-12-31
The 46th meeting was convened on the last day of 2021 with essentially one outcome. The Council recommended deferring the decision to change the rates in textiles that had been recommended at the 45th meeting, so that the existing rates in the textile sector would continue beyond 1 January 2022. The reversal came after sustained representations from textile states and the trade that the increase from 5 to 12 per cent would raise costs for consumers and unorganised weavers. The footwear rate increase, however, went ahead as planned.
How we apply it: Textile traders in Chennai and across Tamil Nadu continued at five per cent from January 2022, but footwear moved to twelve per cent, so the two sectors diverged from that date.
