From Rs.4,999, our team delivers GST Refund RFD-01 for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Taramani. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Thiruvallur Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Taramani is Chennai's IT-services core, with Tidel Park, the IIT Madras Research Park and the CSIR campus feeding Kanagam Road and Taramani Link Road. Software exporters, engineering R&D units, staffing agencies, MGR Film City studios and campus canteens dominate the local base. Recurring GST pain here is LUT-backed zero-rated export of services, unutilised ITC refund claims, intermediary place-of-supply disputes and branch cross-charge. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of GST Refund RFD-01 is available to Taramani businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Perungudi and Velachery on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Taramani business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Taramani are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
Thiruvallur Street is a main connecting road in Taramani, about 700 m west of the centre of Taramani. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Agasthiyar Street (about 0 m); Kambar Street (about 100 m); Eri Karai Street (about 100 m); Anna Street (about 200 m) — so a site visit on Thiruvallur Street can usually be combined with other work in Taramani on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Thiruvallur Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Taramani pincode is 600113.

Krishna Bhavan Foods and Sweets - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/24/AAR/2021, dated 18 June 2021, upheld by AAAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/AAAR/02/2022, dated 13 January 2022 · 2021-06-18
The applicant sold packaged ready to cook instant mixes for dosai, idli, tiffin items, sweets, health mix and porridge. It argued that these were only flours of cereals and pulses taxable at 5 percent. The Authority classified the products under heading 2106 90 as food preparations not elsewhere specified, attracting 18 percent GST, because the mixing and added ingredients took them out of the concessional flour entries. The Appellate Authority upheld that classification.
What it means for you: Chennai food manufacturers selling instant mixes should confirm whether the product is a plain flour or a preparation before applying 5 percent.
Circular No. 235/29/2024-GST, dated 11 October 2024 · 2024-10-11
Implementing the 54th GST Council decisions, CBIC clarified that extruded or expanded savoury or salted products other than un-fried snack pellets fall under tariff item 1905 90 30 and attract twelve per cent prospectively, while un-fried or uncooked snack pellets continue at five per cent. Roof-mounted package unit air conditioning machines for railway coaches were held classifiable under heading 8415 and not as railway parts, and the rate position on motor car seats was settled.
Practical effect: Namkeen and extruded snack manufacturers must apply the clarified rate prospectively and can rely on the circular's regularisation for earlier supplies.
Jindal Stainless Ltd v. State of Haryana — Supreme Court, nine-judge Bench, (2017) 12 SCC 1, judgment dated 11-11-2016 · 2016-11-11
The Supreme Court held that a tax is not per se a restriction on the freedom of trade and commerce guaranteed by Article 301 of the Constitution. Only a discriminatory tax that favours local goods over goods from other States is hit. The judicially created concept of compensatory tax was discarded as having no constitutional basis. State entry tax laws were largely upheld, subject to the test of discrimination.
Practical effect: Chennai businesses challenging a State levy must show actual discrimination against outside goods, not merely that the levy burdens interstate trade.
