From Rs.749, our team delivers GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Chepauk. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around KMS Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
GST does not distinguish between a large showroom and a small service unit — the due dates and matching systems apply equally to both. Chepauk is Chennai's government and sporting quarter: the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium on Wallajah Road, the Chepauk Palace secretariat offices in Ezhilagam, the University of Madras along Kamarajar Salai and hostels and eateries on Bells Road and Victoria Hostel Road. Caterers, event vendors and contractors billing government departments face 2 per cent GST TDS reported in GSTR-7, making monthly credit acceptance essential. That is why our GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing engagements in Chepauk follow the same discipline whatever the client's size: written checklists, reconciliation before filing and every acknowledgement archived. Businesses from Triplicane and Chintadripet run on the same process, entirely over WhatsApp if they prefer.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Chepauk compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Chepauk business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
Your work is executed by trained GST staff working under direct senior supervision, not passed to interns learning on your file. The person preparing your return understands reverse charge, blocked credits and place of supply, because getting these wrong costs you money.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Chepauk always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
KMS Street is a residential street in Chepauk, about 400 m west of the centre of Chepauk. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Mreyan 2nd Lane (about 100 m); Lal Mohammed Street (about 100 m); Arunachala Acharya Street (about 100 m); Mosque Street (about 200 m) — so a site visit on KMS Street can usually be combined with other work in Chepauk on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on KMS Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Chepauk pincode is 600005.

Notification No. 24/2018-Central Tax (Rate), dated 31 December 2018 · 2018-12-31
Solar and other renewable energy projects are usually supplied as a single turnkey contract covering panels, structures, cabling, erection and commissioning, which led to endless disputes on whether the concessional goods rate or the higher works contract rate applied. From 1 January 2019 the law deemed seventy per cent of the gross consideration to be the value of goods, taxed at the concessional renewable energy rate, and thirty per cent to be the value of the taxable service. The same deeming continues in the current goods rate notification.
Practical effect: EPC contractors for rooftop solar in Chennai should split each invoice 70:30 as prescribed rather than inventing their own allocation between goods and installation.
GSTN Advisories No. 624 dated 27 September 2025 and No. 631 dated 17 October 2025 — IMS enhancements from the October 2025 tax period · 2025-10
GSTN enhanced the Invoice Management System from the October 2025 tax period. Recipients can now keep credit notes and specified records pending for one tax period instead of being forced to accept or reject them immediately, can declare the actual amount of input tax credit to be reduced when accepting a credit note where the credit was never availed or was already reversed, and can save remarks when rejecting or keeping a document pending. GSTR-2B can be recomputed after corrective action is taken.
Practical effect: Train your accounts team on the new pending and partial-reversal options so supplier credit notes do not strip more ITC than legally required.
Circular No. 201/13/2023-GST · 2023-08-01
CBIC clarified that where a director rents out immovable property to the company in his personal capacity rather than as a director, the reverse charge entry for director's services does not apply and the ordinary forward charge rules govern. It also clarified that supply of food and beverages in cinema halls is taxable as a restaurant service at five per cent without input tax credit, unless the sale of the ticket and the food are clubbed as a composite supply with the ticket as the principal supply.
How we apply it: Companies paying rent to a director for personally owned premises need not discharge reverse charge under the director's-services entry, but must check the landlord's registration status.
