Composition & CMP-08 in Siruseri does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.499, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.

Finding dependable Composition & CMP-08 in Siruseri usually means choosing between a distant online portal and an overloaded local accountant. Siruseri on Rajiv Gandhi Salai hosts the SIPCOT IT Park, among Asia's largest, with the TCS Siruseri campus and a service economy of caterers, employee transport fleets, facility management firms and service apartments built around it. IT exporters need a fresh LUT under RFD-11 each financial year for zero-rated billing, while transport and canteen contractors wrestle with rate slabs and input credit restrictions on their services. We offer a third option: a professional Chennai GST practice that treats Siruseri, Navalur and Kelambakkam as home ground, responds the same working day, files ahead of deadlines, and stands behind its work if a notice ever arrives on a return we prepared.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Siruseri often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Siruseri through each of these so month one starts correctly.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Siruseri always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
We verify your turnover and business type against composition conditions, and file CMP-02 to opt in from the start of the financial year where applicable.
Each quarter we collect your sales summary, apply the correct composition rate, and add any tax payable under reverse charge on specified inward supplies.
The statement-cum-challan in Form CMP-08 is prepared, tax is paid, and the form is filed by the 18th of the month following the quarter.
After year end we consolidate the four quarters, reconcile with your books, and file the annual return in GSTR-4 before the 30 June due date.
We track your cumulative turnover through the year and, if the Rs.1.5 crore or Rs.50 lakh limit nears, manage a clean transition to the regular scheme.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter; GSTR-4 by 30 June · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
GSTN Advisory, 2021 — negative liability appearing in Form GSTR-4 filed by composition taxpayers · 2021
Composition taxpayers who left Table 6 of the annual return GSTR-4 blank found that the tax already paid through Form CMP-08 was treated as an excess payment, creating a negative liability that was then adjusted against later quarters. GSTN clarified that outward supply and reverse charge figures must be entered in Table 6 even though the tax has already been paid, and arranged for wrongly created negative balances to be reversed.
How we apply it: Composition dealers in Chennai must complete Table 6 of GSTR-4 each year, or the portal will show a false credit and later recover it.
Notification No. 34/2020-Central Tax · 2020-04-03
The statement of self-assessed tax in Form GST CMP-08 for the quarter ending 31 March 2020 was allowed to be furnished up to 7 July 2020 instead of 18 April 2020. The annual return in Form GSTR-4 for the financial year 2019-20 was allowed up to 15 July 2020 instead of 30 April 2020. This was the first COVID concession specifically for composition taxpayers, who had otherwise been left out of the relief given to regular filers.
What it means for you: Chennai composition dealers such as small traders and eateries had a three-month reprieve for the 2019-20 filings, which should be cited against any late-fee entry for that year.
32nd GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 10 January 2019 · 2019-01-10
The Council created two threshold limits for exemption from registration and payment of GST for suppliers of goods, Rs 40 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, and gave states a week to choose which limit would apply in their territory. The threshold for service providers was left unchanged at Rs 20 lakh, and at Rs 10 lakh for special category states. The change was made operational from 1 April 2019 and remains the basic registration test for traders and manufacturers today.
Practical effect: A Chennai trader dealing only in goods crosses the registration line at Rs 40 lakh of aggregate turnover, but a service provider must register at Rs 20 lakh.
