Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing is completed on the portal from Rs.749 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Kotturpuram have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around 2nd Main Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Every locality in Chennai has its own commercial rhythm, and Kotturpuram is no exception. Kotturpuram, on the south bank of the Adyar around the Anna Centenary Library and the Housing Board blocks, is a professionals' quarter: independent consultants, architects, tutors and clinics work along Gandhi Mandapam Road and the numbered Main Roads. Many consultants billing from home offices cross the Rs.20 lakh services threshold quietly, and those serving overseas clients need a live LUT before invoicing exports without IGST. Our practice has shaped its GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing work around exactly these realities, serving clients in Kotturpuram as well as Adyar and Nandanam. Registrations, returns, refunds and notice replies are handled by one accountable team, with fees fixed in writing before work begins and every filing reconciled against portal data before it is submitted.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Kotturpuram never writes back to you as a demand years later.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Kotturpuram business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Kotturpuram compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Kotturpuram, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
2nd Main Road is a residential street in Kotturpuram, about 250 m east of the centre of Kotturpuram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Kotturpuram 1st Main Road (about 100 m); 3rd Loop Street (about 150 m); 2nd Loop Street (about 150 m); 1st Loop Street (about 150 m) — so a site visit on 2nd Main Road can usually be combined with other work in Kotturpuram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 2nd Main Road falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Kotturpuram pincode is 600085.

Kone Elevator India (P) Ltd v. State of Tamil Nadu — Supreme Court, Constitution Bench, (2014) 7 SCC 1, judgment dated 06-05-2014 · 2014-05-06
A five-judge Bench overruled the earlier view and held that a composite contract for manufacture, supply and installation of a lift is a works contract, because the lift comes into existence as a functional unit only on installation at site. The dominant nature test was rejected for contracts falling within the deemed sale of works contracts. The composite character of such contracts is now the basis of works contract taxation under GST.
What it means for you: Chennai contractors doing supply-plus-installation work should classify the transaction as a works contract service under GST rather than splitting it into goods and labour.
GSTN Advisory, September 2022 — changes in Table 4 of Form GSTR-3B pursuant to Notification No. 14/2022-Central Tax, dated 5 July 2022 and Circular No. 170/02/2022-GST, dated 6 July 2022 · 2022-09
From the August 2022 return period the whole of the credit appearing in GSTR-2B must first be reported as credit available in Table 4(A), with ineligible and reversible credit then shown separately in Table 4(B). Reversals that can be reclaimed later, such as those under Rule 37, go into Table 4(B)(2) and the reclaim is reported in Table 4(D)(1). Only the net figure reaches the electronic credit ledger.
What to do about it: Report gross credit and reversals separately in Table 4, because the department now compares your ledger with GSTR-2B line by line.
Notification No. 11/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17 September 2025 · 2025-09-17
This notification amends the 2017 concessional rate notification for goods supplied to holders of petroleum exploration licences and coal-bed methane contracts, substituting the entry in the rate column with nine per cent central tax, that is eighteen per cent combined, with effect from 22 September 2025. The concessional scheme survives but at the standard rate, so the practical benefit is now limited to items that would otherwise attract a higher rate under the main schedule.
What to do about it: Vendors supplying oil and gas exploration projects should update contract rate clauses to eighteen per cent for supplies made on or after 22 September 2025.
