Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, New GST Registration in Madhavaram deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.1,499, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around Moolachatram Main Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in Madhavaram looking for New GST Registration want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. Madhavaram combines the CMDA truck terminal on Grand Northern Trunk Road, the historic Milk Colony dairy belt and rows of godowns and timber depots along Madhavaram High Road and the Inner Ring Road. Transporters and warehouse operators here deal constantly with reverse charge on freight and must register every godown as an additional place of business, which many miss until a notice arrives. We serve this belt — including Kolathur and Manali — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Madhavaram never writes back to you as a demand years later.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Madhavaram. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
Moolachatram Main Road is a main connecting road in Madhavaram, about 1.5 km east of the centre of Madhavaram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Madhavaram Milk Colony Road (about 250 m); Main Road (about 400 m); Madhavaram Red Hills Road (about 1.7 km); 21st Street (about 1.7 km) — so a site visit on Moolachatram Main Road can usually be combined with other work in Madhavaram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Moolachatram Main Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Madhavaram pincode is 600060.

Notification No. 35/2021-Central Tax · 2021-09-24
The Central Goods and Services Tax (Eighth Amendment) Rules, 2021 inserted Rule 10B, requiring a registered person to authenticate the Aadhaar number of the proprietor, partner, karta, managing director or authorised signatory in order to file an application for revocation of cancellation, to file a refund application, or to obtain a refund of integrated tax paid on exports. Rule 89 and Rule 96 were amended to require that the refund be credited to a bank account linked to the same permanent account number as the registration.
What to do about it: A Chennai exporter cannot get a rupee of refund until Aadhaar authentication is completed and the bank account is validated against the same PAN.
CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
How we apply it: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
22nd GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 6 October 2017 (PIB Release ID 1505133) · 2017-10-06
The Council raised the composition scheme threshold from Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1 crore of annual aggregate turnover, and from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 75 lakh for Special Category States other than Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand, which were given Rs 1 crore. Both migrated and new taxpayers could opt in under the higher threshold up to 31 March 2018, with the option becoming operational from the first day of the month following the month in which it was exercised.
How we apply it: This brought a large part of Chennai's small trading and restaurant sector within reach of quarterly composition filing instead of monthly returns.
