Our consultants provide GST Notice Reply to businesses across Sembium starting at Rs.2,999. Every file is reconciled and senior-reviewed before submission, which is why our clients see far fewer departmental queries than they did while self-filing.
We serve businesses on and around MES Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in Sembium looking for GST Notice Reply want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. Sembium straddles Paper Mills Road, Madhavaram High Road and Erukkancheri High Road, feeding the Perambur Carriage Works with fabrication shops, rubber and hosiery units, hardware and timber dealers. Bunder Garden Main Street, Melpatti Ponappa Street and Market Street hold provision wholesalers, sweet stalls and lorry booking agents, and the Carriage Works Road sheds house body builders. Transporters issuing consignment notes, reverse charge on freight and e-way bill expiry on Moolakadai bound loads are the standing pain points. We serve this belt — including Perambur and Agaram — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Sembium, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Sembium never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Sembium never writes back to you as a demand years later.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
MES Road is a residential street in Sembium, about 700 m north-east of the centre of Sembium. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Main Road (about 100 m); Ambedkar Street (about 250 m); Perambur Cross Road (about 250 m); JP Jyothi Street (about 300 m) — so a site visit on MES Road can usually be combined with other work in Sembium on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on MES Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Sembium pincode is 600011.

The Bank of Nova Scotia - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/23/AAR/2018, dated 31 December 2018 · 2018-12-31
The bank imported goods and stored them in a Free Trade Warehousing Zone before they were cleared. It asked whether integrated tax was payable again when the goods were removed from the zone to the domestic tariff area, over and above the tax collected at the time of customs clearance. The Authority, following Circular No. 3/1/2018-IGST dated 25 May 2018, held that the applicant is not liable to pay IGST at the time of removal, the levy arising once at clearance for home consumption.
Practical effect: Chennai importers using FTWZ facilities pay IGST once at clearance and should resist any demand for a second levy on removal.
CBIC Instruction No. 01/2025-GST · 2025-01-13
Following High Court rulings on the constitutional requirement to inform an arrested person of the grounds of arrest, CBIC revised its arrest guidelines. The grounds of arrest must be explained and furnished in writing to the person as an annexure to the arrest memo, and written acknowledgement of receipt must be obtained. This supplements the earlier requirement that arrest be based on reasons to believe recorded in writing, with approval of the Commissioner, and only for offences crossing the prescribed thresholds.
What it means for you: If a summons escalates towards arrest, insist on written grounds of arrest, as their absence has repeatedly led courts to set aside GST arrests.
Notification No. 7/2022-Central Tax (Rate), dated 13 July 2022 · 2022-07-13
This companion notification amended the exemption list so that the nil rate on cereals, pulses, flour and similar staples applies only where the goods are other than pre-packaged and labelled. Loose sale from an open sack or gunny bag remains exempt; the same commodity in a sealed retail pack bearing statutory declarations becomes taxable at five per cent. Both notifications came into force on 18 July 2022 and reshaped billing for every kirana and provision supplier.
Why this matters: The same bag of rice is nil-rated if sold loose and taxable at five per cent if sold in a labelled retail pack, so packing practice now decides the tax.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
