Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Thoraipakkam deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.749, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around Chandrasejhar Avenue 3rd Main Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.

Thoraipakkam sits where Rajiv Gandhi Salai meets the Pallavaram - Thoraipakkam Road, and its frontage carries IT offices, coworking spaces, car showrooms, cloud kitchens, furniture and hardware dealers, plus paying-guest hostels serving Secretariat Colony and Kumaran Kudil. Restaurant chains on the OMR service road and promoters in the interior streets struggle with e-invoicing thresholds, blocked credit on restaurant supply and monthly GSTR-3B reconciliation against GSTR-2B. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing to clients across Thoraipakkam and neighbouring Perungudi and Karapakkam, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Thoraipakkam often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
Funding rounds, partnerships and business sales all begin with a compliance check. A clean, documented GST history lets you clear that scrutiny quickly instead of watching a deal stall over old filing gaps.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
Chandrasejhar Avenue 3rd Main Road is a residential street in Thoraipakkam, about 850 m south-west of the centre of Thoraipakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Bagavathsingh Street (about 300 m); Pallavan Kudiyiruppu 1st Main Road (about 400 m); V.O.C. Street (about 400 m); Pallavan Kudiyiruppu 3rd Cross Street (about 400 m) — so a site visit on Chandrasejhar Avenue 3rd Main Road can usually be combined with other work in Thoraipakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Chandrasejhar Avenue 3rd Main Road falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Thoraipakkam pincode is 600097.

Circular No. 167/23/2021-GST dated 17 December 2021 · 2021-12-17
Following the 45th GST Council meeting, restaurant service supplied through an e-commerce operator was notified under section 9(5) with effect from 1 January 2022. CBIC clarified that the operator, and not the restaurant, is liable to pay the tax on such supplies, must discharge it in cash without using input tax credit, and issues the invoice for the service. The restaurant continues to pay tax on its own dine-in and direct sales, and the aggregate turnover of the restaurant still includes the supplies made through the platform.
Why this matters: Chennai restaurants listed on delivery platforms must separate platform sales from direct sales in their records, because the tax on the former is paid by the platform.
TVH Lumbini Square Owners Association - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. 25/ARA/2019, dated 21 June 2019 · 2019-06-21
A residents welfare association collected monthly maintenance contributions from its members. The Authority held that where the contribution per member exceeds Rs. 7,500 a month, GST is payable on the entire contribution and not merely on the amount above Rs. 7,500. The Madras High Court subsequently held, in Greenwood Owners Association, that only the excess over Rs. 7,500 is taxable, and associations now follow that judicial position.
Why this matters: Chennai apartment associations should apply the High Court position carefully and keep member-wise workings ready for departmental scrutiny.
39th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 14 March 2020 · 2020-03-14
Following widespread demands computing interest on the gross tax liability of a late GSTR-3B, ignoring the credit balance available, the Council recommended that interest under Section 50 be charged only on the net cash tax liability, with retrospective effect from 1 July 2017. This was given effect through the proviso to Section 50(1) inserted by the Finance Act, 2021 and notified retrospectively, and it neutralised thousands of interest demands raised on gross turnover across the country.
What to do about it: If you have received an interest demand computed on gross output tax for a late return, the net cash liability principle from this meeting is usually a complete answer.
