Our consultants provide GST Refund RFD-01 to businesses across Tiruvottiyur starting at Rs.4,999. Every file is reconciled and senior-reviewed before submission, which is why our clients see far fewer departmental queries than they did while self-filing.
We serve businesses on and around Vanniar Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Tiruvottiyur is North Chennai's old factory belt, where engineering, chemical and consumer goods plants sit along Thiruvottiyur High Road and Ennore High Road near the Vadivudai Amman temple, with scrap yards and transport contractors filling the side lanes towards Sathangadu. Units crossing Rs.5 crore turnover must issue e-invoices, and freight-heavy dispatches make reverse charge on goods transport agency bills a monthly checkpoint. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides GST Refund RFD-01 to clients across Tiruvottiyur and neighbouring Ennore and Manali, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Tiruvottiyur regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Tiruvottiyur business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Tiruvottiyur, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
Vanniar Street is a residential street in Tiruvottiyur, about 500 m south of the centre of Tiruvottiyur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Kavarai Street (about 100 m); Eluthukaran Street (about 250 m); Sattangadu High Road (about 450 m); LIG Colony 1st Street (about 450 m) — so a site visit on Vanniar Street can usually be combined with other work in Tiruvottiyur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Vanniar Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Tiruvottiyur pincode is 600019.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.

CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
What to do about it: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
Notification No. 01/2017-Central Tax dated 19.06.2017 · 2017-06-19
This was the first notification issued under the CGST Act. It appointed 22 June 2017 as the date on which the preliminary and registration provisions came into force, including sections 1 to 5, section 10 (composition levy) and sections 22 to 30, which deal with who must register, compulsory registration, the procedure for registration, amendment of registration and cancellation. It opened the GST registration window before the tax itself became payable.
What to do about it: Every Chennai registration granted on or after 22 June 2017 traces its legal authority to this notification, so registration certificates dated from that day are validly issued.
Circular No. 230/24/2024-GST · 2024-09-10
CBIC clarified that an Indian advertising agency dealing with a foreign client on a principal-to-principal basis is not an intermediary merely because it books media space from Indian publishers. The target audience in India is not the recipient of the service; the foreign client who pays is the recipient. Such services are therefore neither intermediary services nor performance-based services, and qualify as export of services when the other conditions of Section 2(6) of the IGST Act are met.
Practical effect: Chennai advertising, media buying and marketing agencies serving overseas clients can supply under LUT and claim refunds, resisting the intermediary label.
