From Rs.2,999, our team delivers GST Notice Reply for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Kovilambakkam. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Manikanda Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in Kovilambakkam looking for GST Notice Reply want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. Kovilambakkam straddles Medavakkam Main Road and the Pallavaram - Thoraipakkam Radial Road near Eachangadu Junction and the Keelkattalai Flyover, with apartment promoters, tile and hardware showrooms, timber depots, packers-and-movers and car workshops along Ezhumalai Road and Sathya Nagar Main Road. Promoters here mishandle the affordable-housing value cap and the input credit reversal on flats left unsold at completion certificate. We serve this belt — including Keelkattalai and Madipakkam — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Kovilambakkam are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Kovilambakkam business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
Manikanda Street is a residential street in Kovilambakkam, about 450 m north of the centre of Kovilambakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Radhakrishnan Avenue (about 300 m); Rose Nagar Main Road (about 450 m); Ezhumalai Road (about 600 m); 4th Main Road (about 650 m) — so a site visit on Manikanda Street can usually be combined with other work in Kovilambakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Manikanda Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Kovilambakkam pincode is 600129.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
Notification No. 35/2020-Central Tax · 2020-04-03
Using the newly inserted Section 168A, CBIC extended to 30 June 2020 every action, whether by a taxpayer or an officer, whose due date fell between 20 March 2020 and 29 June 2020. This covered completion of proceedings, passing of orders, issue of notices, filing of appeals, replies and applications. Return filing, payment of tax and e-way bill obligations were kept outside the extension, being dealt with by separate notifications. The window was later extended further by subsequent notifications.
How we apply it: This is the starting point of the whole COVID limitation chain and is the first thing to check when a Chennai business faces a demand said to be time-barred or an appeal said to be late.
Circular No. 178/10/2022-GST · 2022-08-03
This is the leading circular on the agreeing to tolerate an act entry. The Board held that liquidated damages paid for breach of contract are a flow of money compensating for injury, not consideration for any service, so no GST applies. The same reasoning covers notice pay recovered from employees, cheque dishonour charges, fines and penalties for violation of a contract or a law, and forfeiture of salary or bond amounts, unless there is a genuine independent agreement to tolerate an act. A late payment surcharge or fee is treated differently, as it is naturally bundled with the principal supply and forms part of its value.
How we apply it: Chennai employers and contractors should resist departmental demands on notice pay recovery and liquidated damages by citing this circular in the reply itself.
Krishna Bhavan Foods and Sweets - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/24/AAR/2021, dated 18 June 2021, upheld by AAAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/AAAR/02/2022, dated 13 January 2022 · 2021-06-18
The applicant sold packaged ready to cook instant mixes for dosai, idli, tiffin items, sweets, health mix and porridge. It argued that these were only flours of cereals and pulses taxable at 5 percent. The Authority classified the products under heading 2106 90 as food preparations not elsewhere specified, attracting 18 percent GST, because the mixing and added ingredients took them out of the concessional flour entries. The Appellate Authority upheld that classification.
Practical effect: Chennai food manufacturers selling instant mixes should confirm whether the product is a plain flour or a preparation before applying 5 percent.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
